I mean everybody. No exceptions. As humans we tell each other stories every day. Even the non-fiction only readers love stories. I know. Sometimes I read non-fiction, and those books are full of stories.
Stories are what I remember. I remember the story and then I remember the point of the story. I don’t think it’s ever the other way around.
Ursula K. Le Guin Said
“The story is one of the basic tools of the human mind for the purpose of understanding.
There have been great societies that did not use the wheel, but there have been no societies that did not tell stories.”
When I read this quote it really hit me how important stories are. We really do use them everyday to understand life better. Knowing this helps me feel that I as a storyteller can do something good. Even though we have zillions of stories around us being told by billions of people my stories are still important. And so are yours. What are your thought’s on what Ursula K. Le Guin said?
